Room 5

This morning I spent a great session in Room 5 whilst Mrs Paku took a group of children to the MAT's matinee of 'Beauty & the Beast.' 

Enviro School Assembly

Today's assembly was led by our school Enviro team and leaders. As part of the assembly each class put forward a statement for our School Care Code. 

We then all went out to the front of the school and our new school Enviro sign was unveiled. The sign shows when we were awarded Bronze and Silver status and has a gap for Green/ Gold which we hope will be later this year.

Ash Wednesday school mass

Today we held our first school mass of the year to celebrate Ash Wednesday.

Waitangi Day Celebrations

The school marked Waitangi Day with a short ceremony led by Liz and some of the school Enviro leaders. 

Welcome to the 2016 school year

With the sun shining we were able to welcome our new students and families at our start of year Powhiri. As always it was a fantastic celebration and we are grateful to everyone who helped us.
