An email surprise from Jack in Room 11

Yesterday morning I was sitting at my desk when I received an unexpected email from Te Papa in Wellington. Even more of a surprise was that it was from Jack in Room 11. Jack had designed the poster using one of the interactive exhibits in the museum.

Great work Jack, it was an awesome surprise!

Amazing insects in Room 6!

This morning I was lucky enough to be visited by some very proud children from room 6. They came to show me their insects they had made and read the descriptions they had written about them.

I think they are pretty cool. Well done!

Wow what a morning! Today's cup-cake sale was a huge success. It was wonderful to see the different creations the children has come up with. A huge thank you to everyone who took part and helped raise over $350 for Operation Christmas Child.

Cooking up a treat!

Mr Murray certainly had an enjoyable long weekend. Yesterday he went for a dive and brought some treats for the children in Room 1 to cook up and taste.

When asked who enjoyed the tasty paua, heaps of hands quickly shot up in the air!
