Kapa Haka Leaders 2015

Congratulations to Taylor and Jayob who were today announced as our 2015 Kapa Haka leaders. Mrs Connor has been looking for students who have shown leadership and can be role models to the other children in this area. Great work Taylor and Jaykob.

St. Patrick's students continue to perform!

On Friday night at the Wairarapa Schools Vocal Spectacular it was fantastic to watch a large number of ex St. Patrick's students performing. Many of the Chanel College Cultural Group have been through St. Pat's and it was clear to see that the musical development they received here, is still being put to good use.

The Kildare classes at work!

It was great to see all the Kildare syndicate classes hard at work this morning:

• Room 1 - using their new I-pads for research on morse code
• Room 12 - learning about decimals using a cool I-pad app
• Room 11 - having fun in their PE lesson

Reading Together 2015

This morning it was great to see parents reading with their children as part of the Reading Together programme.

Football fun!

Fun in the sun was had at lunchtime today! A small game of football turned into a mass Year 1 (& Mr. Wheeler) v Year 4. A close game was finally split when Mitchell scored the only goal with a powerful shot from two yards out that Zeb, in goal, jumped out of the way of!
