International Day of Happiness

Today at school we celebrated 'International Day of Happiness'. Organised by Kim Paku and the children, all of the teachers were presented with flowers and had a wonderful morning tea. Many of the children have also contributed to a 'What makes me happy' display. Look out for this in the corridor outside Room 1.

Year 4's on the beat!


Today at assembly four Year 4 students were recognised for their community spirit. The four boys were involved in helping recover a stolen bike and were presented with the Consideration Cup by Mr Day and Constable Cody.

St. Patrick's Day celebrations


St. Patrick's Day is never a normal day at school! There is always lots of colour, noise and laughter and this year was certainly no different!

Hot air balloon visit!

It's not every day you get the chance to watch a hot air balloon inflated right in front of you. The St. Patrick's children today really enjoyed watching 'Sweet Pea' inflate and learning lots about what it is made from and how it flies.

Variety Bash visit to St. Patrick's

This morning we were lucky to host the annual 'Variety Bash' at school. The children had a great time looking at all the cars and trucks, listening to the horns and enjoying their gift packs.

PMP is underway


The school PMP programme is up and running in the Brigidine syndicate.The children are having a great time learning through movement and motor experiences.

Term 1 Radio Show

On Monday our first radio show of the year was recorded with hosts Erin and Daniel. The show went really well with lots of contributions from every class.

Masterton Schools Swimming Championships

Yesterday we took 12 students to the Masterton Schools swimming championships. They all represented the school really well and had a great day.

Congratulations to Roan, Lottie, Sian, Anna, Charlie, Jack, Abe and Harry who have all qualified for the Wairarapa Swim Finals on Tuesday evening.
